It was an exciting game. The large number of penalties made it seem like it was going at a snail's pace at the end of the 3rd/beginning of the 4th, but overall it was worth seeing. The weather was a little too much at times, but that's the price you pay to pl.. err.. watch the game!

Both the teams played good. I enjoyed the game. My hats off to the kids that played.

much respect to cwood for winning tonight, def. an impresive win at home.
but from what i heard, both teams played extremely hard, and didnt get into petty unsportsmanlike stuff.
so congrats to cwood on winning the lpd
and good job to the raiders for playing hard, keeping it close, and actually having a shot to win in the second half.

Both teams showed class tonight. No late hits or any unsportsmanlike penalties called tonight.

Other than the roughing the kicker moments, one or two which completely slipped by the refs. [img]/LDPforum/ubbthreads/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif[/img] In all seriousness, though, and those moments aside, it was definitely about as clean as you'll find in terms of the sportsmanship tonight.

I think it was a pretty clean game but I think it was partially because both teams knew they had to play smart to have a chance to win. I know Norton has some gamebreaking speed, but Clintwood has a few kids who can haul pretty good butt themselves, tacking on 15 yards when you stop either team is stupid.
What we've got here is failure to communicate. Some men you just can't reach, so you get what we had here last week which is the way he wants it. Well, he gets it.

If some of you play the game you know rain effects the game in any football game., but they both played well. I'm glad I went.

It does effect the game, but it also effects both teams
